Dr. Rosario Zambrano is a pediatrician with over 25 years experience. She is a vaccine friendly doctor. All she asks is that families sign a vaccine waiver stating that they accept the medical responsibility for the medical decision they are making of not vaccinating their child.
We do accept into our practices newborns birth at home but only if they have been examined at a hospital with 24 hours of birth. We follow AAP guidelines which strongly recommend hospital birth or hospital follow up immediately after birth. Please bring all hospital paper work to your first visit.
Dr. Zambrano takes patients of all insurances — from New Jersey Family Care to managed care HMOs to private insurances to uninsured — no child will be denied medical care at her practice.
She treats sick children and well children from newborns to 21 years old. Dr. Zambrano is very well versed in dealing with children with ADHD, developmental delays, and special needs.
Dr. Zambrano is married and has two children of her own. She understands what parents go through. She will always take the time to listen and to explain her findings and her recommendations in a clear manner. She feels a doctor and the parents should always work together as a team in order to provide the best health care for our children.
Dr. Zambrano and her Physician Assistants are all board certified. She has admitting privileges at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.
